The Clear Blue Pregnancy Test – Two Versions That You Should Be Aware Of
May 14, 2016
The Clear Blue pregnancy test kit is probably one of the most popular brands on the market. You literally see a commercial about it every time you turn on the TV. So how does it work and what is so great about it? Well for one, the clear blue pregnancy tests results are over 99% accurate when used correctly. It is also so sensitive that it can be used up to 5 days sooner than other tests. Which means it is able to detect the level of HCG in your urine before most tests are. That’s great for those who are extremely anxious to find out if they are indeed pregnant.
What you might not know is that there are two versions of the Clear Blue pregnancy test kit.
Clear Blue Easy Pregnancy Test
First up we have the Clear Blue Easy Pregnancy Test. This test actually changes colors to let you know that you have saturated the tip of the stick with enough urine. This means you never have to guess if things are working properly. It will automatically let you know with a simple color change.
All you have to do is hold the tip of the stick under your urine stream until it turns pink. Then wait just 2 minutes for the results. This version uses the plus or minus system. If there is a plus sign in the results window then congrats, you are having a baby. If it is a minus then you are not expecting which could be a good thing depending on your situation.
The second version is the Clear Blue Easy Digital Pregnancy Test. With this test, you do not have to worry about looking for a plus or minus sign. It will literally spell it out in words for you. If you are pregnant it will say “pregnant”. If you are not pregnant it will say “not pregnant”. No guesswork involved. All you have to do is urinate on the stick and wait about three minutes for your results. The clear blue pregnancy test stick will even flash to let you know it is working properly.
Of course, the Clear Blue Easy test is a little bit cheaper than the Clear Blue Digital test because it has fewer features. The Digital one runs about $20 while the Easy one will cost you about $13. Either way, you will get very accurate results that will help you determine if you are with child or not.
